2027 Conference Information

The sixth Canadian Healthcare Navigation Conference (CHNC) will focus on the theme “Sustaining navigation success: Maximizing impact through technology, talent, and transformative practices.” Navigation programs hold a great deal of promise for generating impact across healthcare and related systems. Identifying success factors and strategies that support traction and sustainability for navigation programs is key to long-term results while addressing diverse client needs across complex systems of care. Navigation programs must remain attuned to the ever-changing and advancing technological landscape, develop navigator skills and train the next generation of talent, and implement transformative approaches. CHNC 2027 will provide a forum to exchange insights and discuss mechanisms to sustain navigation success across Canada through the lenses of research, practice, education, and administration. Conference presentations may cover a range of topics, such as: applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare navigation, leveraging technology to improve access to navigation support, innovative approaches to navigator training, navigator education pathways, and new initiatives within navigation programs. By enacting approaches for sustainability and future-readiness, patient navigation programs can ensure Canadians receive accessible, well-integrated, and responsive care.
